What’s New: Writing For San Francisco Wellness Examiner Column and Travel Update

Hi!

I just wanted to apologize for not writing more often the last two weeks. I went to Southern California to visit my family.

My mom is still doing well. She had surgery a couple of months ago for breast cancer and her incision has healed really well. My brother, Ed, has been stable. After he had hemorrhaging from brain aneurysm, his biggest problem has been controlling his hypertension. Thankfully, his blood pressure has been stable lately. In terms of my writing, I’m happy to announce that I am now the San Francisco Wellness Examiner for examiner.com — I just started; so, I just have my first article published. Here’s the link: Staggering Health Care Costs Due to Unhealthy Americans Pose Major Threat to U.S. Economy.

I’m really thrilled about this because it allows me to help more people — examiner.com has millions of readers.

I think it’s helpful to write about shortcuts and other useful information for people who are struggling to live a happier, healthier and richer, more satisfying life due to time, money or other issues. It makes me happy to try and make a difference in other people’s lives.

Writing is my my own version of activism online. There are so many problems individuals and families are dealing with as well as problems in society that can be alleviated, resolved or addressed by sharing creative ideas with others.

Writing complements my work in the community, which involves coaching and teaching patients about wellness and living a healthier lifestyle.

I hope you have a great week!

Allie
